Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about FlexiGym membership, pricing, and how check-ins work.

Do I need a membership to use FlexiGym?

Yes — FlexiGym requires a small A$4.99/month platform membership. This subscription lets you browse and check in at any partner gym across Australia. You then pay each gym's individual visit fee (Standard, Premium, Elite, or a Manned Studio session rate) only when you actually check in and train. There are no lock-in contracts or per-gym joining fees.

How do I pay for gym visits?

When you check in at a partner gym through the FlexiGym app, your visit fee is charged automatically to your saved payment method. Each gym sets its own tier — Standard (A$15/visit), Premium (A$20/visit), Elite (A$25/visit), or a flat Manned Studio rate (A$30/visit) for staffed classes like MMA, BJJ and yoga — and you only pay that fee for the visit you're making. FlexiGym handles splitting the payment between the platform and the gym owner.

Can gym owners join FlexiGym?

Absolutely. If you run an independent gym anywhere in Australia, you can list your gym on FlexiGym. Submit your gym details for review, and once approved, your gym appears in our directory and you'll earn revenue from every FlexiGym member who checks in. You can manage your listing, photos, classes, and earnings through the Gym Owner Portal.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. FlexiGym is designed to be flexible. Your monthly membership is month-to-month with no lock-in contract, and you only pay per-visit fees when you actually train at a partner gym. Cancel your membership anytime — no cancellation fees, no penalties.

Is FlexiGym available in my city?

FlexiGym's partner gym network spans multiple Australian states and is growing. Check the Gym Directory for gyms near you — new gyms are added regularly.

How do I add or update my payment method?

Manage your payment method from your FlexiGym dashboard under membership settings. You need an active payment method on file before you can check in at any gym.

What happens if a gym rejects my check-in?

Check-in requires an active membership with a valid payment method. If check-in is blocked, the app will tell you why (for example, an inactive membership) so you can fix it before your next visit.
